The Resort At Squaw Creek

The Resort at Squaw Creek near Lake Tahoe is an all-season resort and international conference center. A key design goal was to reinforce the character of the setting and enhance the architecture. So a color palette and textures were chosen from natural materials gathered from the site. Another critical design goal was to harmonize the rustic outdoor atmosphere with the five-star resort's luxury. The materials include richly flamed granite floors, and special Douglas fir framed chairs upholstered in richly textured suede leather.
